can't wait until November...

H&M expands its designer collaborations to shoes. We rejoice.

The British accessory brand Jimmy Choo has long been adorning the toned arms and pedicured feet of the famous (Chloe Sevigny) and the fictional (Carrie Bradshaw) alike. Their bags and shoes can be seen gleaming from the red carpet to the sidewalk, and Jimmy Choo takes up a privileged residence next to Blahnik and Louboutin as the crème de la crème of footwear.

This residence, however, comes at a price for its customers; true devotees don’t think twice before blowing their down-payment on a couple of pairs of towering Choo stilettos, but for others, the satisfaction of owning a pair is overshadowed by the doom that awaits them as soon as their credit card bill arrives in the mail.

But this fall, all that’s changing. H&M just announced that they are following up their Matthew Williamson collaboration with a Jimmy Choo partnership. The collection, which arrives in stores on November 14, centers around the brand’s famous footwear (think sky-high heels and animal prints), but also includes accessories and attire—a first for the accessory company. Another pioneering element of the collaboration will be the menswear range, with its own selection of shoes and bags.
